From the winery:Wine summary
The Yearling is a dashing one year-old Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon. Especially made to present lively, fruity aromas with a soft, supple structure, this vibrant yet approachable wine is absolutely perfect to enjoy now.
A complexity of spices like mint, cinnamon, cloves and star anise lifts from the glass and is closely accompanied by sweet dark cherries and redcurrant.
This wine is fresh, vibrant, and abundant in the rich fruits of the forest, such as blackcurrant and raspberries, with hints of minty dark chocolate.
A round, smooth and balanced wine with persistent fruit flavours which linger wonderfully on the palate.
Enjoy with roasted pork or a slow cooked lamb ragout with pasta.
