In 1893, the Laira Vineyard was established by Captain Stentiford on a premium parcel of Coonawarra land. Eric Brand, the first Patron of Coonawarra, became the custodian of the vineyard more than half a century later. The Stentiford's Old Vine Shiraz draws its fruit from these original vines, now more than 110 years old.

Aroma: Fresh and vibrant nose displaying cinnamon and nutmeg spice and blood plum fruit accompanied by toasty vanilla oak.
Palate: Seamlessly integrated fruit driven palate displaying dark plum fruit and spice flavours accompanied by deep, toasty vanilla oak. The finish is long with fine, silky tannins.
